Floor Trap

At Crossiron Mills Mall (which isn't technically in Calgary), there is an interactive floor mat.  It is really neat.  An image is projected on to the floor, and when someone steps on it there is a reaction. There are different things all the time and they change frequently.  When we were there it started out as a soccer field, and you had to 'kick' the ball, then it changed to a covering of snowflakes, and when you walked on the surface the snowflakes blew away.  There was a race track, a stream with fish, flowers, bowling and many other themes.

www.floortrap.com is the website for the company that put this in.  Seems like a cool idea.  Originally I thought it was just for kids, and that is who has the most fun with it, but in the 10 minutes that I was there, I saw a number of teenagers and adults that also were amused by it.  I must say that I have had my share of fun on it too!
